Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured suck opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

I'm behind here...

Wow, I got lost in life! I need to update my training schedule... although, I've been slacking (if you want honesty...)

Spring break as in there... I ran a few times. Then a busy week followed so the workouts were gone. I'm back on this week. I'm tired, but feel pretty ready for the race in just a couple weeks!!!

Here are some things I've learned:

You need LOTS of sleep to get through your hard workouts.
You need to drink LOTS of water after/during your bike and run.
You can't eat a lot of fake sugars... it makes your body feel really weird.
A banana everyday is a good idea... and tasty :)
A small snack after your workout is important. Your body starts trying to rebuild itself and needs energy. Your recovery time will be shorter thanks to this little snack and you'll be ready for the next day!
